How do I obtain an account?
      
        - Contact  your student's school office to obtain your unique login and password. NOTE: If your login is generated with spaces, you  must include the spaces when entering.    
 
        - If you have notified the school of a name change, whether it is first or  last, your login will change. Please contact your student's school office.

Do I have to obtain new login information each school year?  
      
        - No.  Your assigned login will remain active as long  as you have a student enrolled in Eastern York School District.

Why do my spouse and  I both need a login and password? 
      
        - Security and a sign‑in log are maintained by Family Access.

Do I need a  different login and password if I have students in different schools?

          No. Your account  will allow you access to information about all of your students. From the  Student dropdown box at the top of the screen, select another student’s name  from the list available

I have students at  more than one school. Why can I access information for one student, but cannot see  the information for a student at another school?
      
        - Check the drop‑down menu at the upper left  of the screen. If any student's name is missing, please notify the school  office where the student attends.  They  will be able to combine your information.

I have forgotten my  password and/or login. How do I get another one?  
      
        - Click the "Forgot Your Login/Password?" link on the Skyward login page. Please enter your email  address.  If it matches the email the  district has on file, you will be sent an email to that address containing your  login information and a link that can be used to reset your password.          
 
        - If using the link  referenced above your e‑mail address does not match or it is not on file, you  will need to contact the school office where your student is enrolled.

Why aren't my login and  password are not working today? I just used them yesterday, and I logged into  the program with no problems.
      
        -   Check your Internet connection.
 
        -  Occasionally, Family Access will be down  for system maintenance or program upgrades.  Try to log into the  program at a later time.

How often do  teachers update their gradebooks?
      
        - Data will be updated for Middle School and  High School students weekly on Thursday evenings and available to parents on  Friday.  Elementary student data will be  updated every two weeks.  Please contact  your student's teacher at any  time you have questions about grading information.

What do I do if the  demographic information in Family Access is incorrect?
        
          - If there is any  information that needs to be changed, click on "Request Change(s) to  My Child's Information" at the top right of  the screen, enter your changes and click on Save. Your changes will be  electronically submitted to the office for approval.  Your student's school office may  be contacting you if additional information is required to complete your  request. Please note that not all information can be changed through Family  Access.  If that information is not  available to be changed, you will need to contact your child's school for assistance.  You cannot change your address through Family  Access. You MUST visit your child's school and show appropriate proof of  residency.
